Yesterday, my Nails Inc Jubilee Lucky Dip arrived, yay! Six gorgeous polishes, a nice varied selection, and no duplicates with what I already have 🙂 So I decided to try out something new on my nails, and attempt my first half moon manicure, after I found some sticky hole reinforcers in the house. I used Barry M’s Silver Foil Effects first, then once that was dry, stuck the hole reinforcers in position, and used Nails Inc’s Westminster. Westminster is a lovely purple shade, although with layering it over the silver, I can’t judge it too much. My nails didn’t turn out as neat as I’d have liked, but they’re not too bad, my main problem was the edge of the stickers coming off, so I couldn’t get a sharp line towards the edge of my nails.
I’ll definitely be trying this out again, but I think next time I’ll have a smaller half moon.
Recently, Barry M have brought out four new magnetic polishes, and five new colours, and now they’ve brought out three chamelon colour change polishes. You apply the polish, then when you add a top coat it changes colour! I’m yet to see it in any shops near me though, or online, but I’m really looking forward to trying them out when I find them!
