So last weekend I was doing some gardening, when I had a little gardening accident! I didn’t realise one of the bushes I was cutting was a hawthorn bush, and stabbed myself in the finger with a thorn. I didn’t think much of it at the time, put some antiseptic cream and a plaster on, and finished off what I was doing. A couple of hours later my finger had swollen up and I couldn’t move it! I was worried about it getting infected and having to go and see the doctors, but thankfully after 3-4 days the swelling had gone down, and now my finger is back to normal, just a little sore where I stabbed it, right on the underside of my knuckle!
Before my finger had swollen up, I tried out another of Barry M‘s new glitter nail paints, 340 Aqua Glitter. I love this polish, it’s packed with tiny aqua blue glitter, and larger glitter. One coat was quite sheer, so this polish would also make a great top coat. My index finger shows one coat, two on my middle finger, three on my ring finger and four on my little finger. I think three coats would have been enough, but I could still see my nail on some fingers.
The rest of the pictures all show four coats.
A couple of days ago whilst looking at other blogs, I found Leslie’s way of keeping track of nail polish on work / play / polish. I had all mine stored in a work document, but hadn’t updated it for a while, and if I was out and saw some new nail polish, I’d have the problem of not being able to remember if I already had it (particularly a problem with Barry M!) So now I’ll be able to search the list on my iPhone (which is constantly glue to my hand) when I’m out and know exactly what I have!
