Speckled Pink

Over the past few days, my dad has been helping me with some gardening, we’ve been putting some gravel down in my front garden, along with lawn edging, and a lot of weeding and pruning! So I’ve avoided doing too much with my nails, and amazingly I didn’t break any! As soon as we were finished, I had to try out one of Maybelline’s new Polka Dots range, Speckled Pink. There’s four polishes in the Polka Dots range, Chalk Dust is the only one I haven’t picked up as it’s pretty much identical to the L’Oreal Confetti top coat.

Speckled Pink is a hot pink jelly base, filled with black and white hex glitter in various sizes. It applied perfectly, I had no problem getting the glitter onto the nail, no dabbing needed. It was a little sheer, and took 3 coats to reach opacity.

Pictures show three coats with top coat.

Have you tried any of the Polka Dots range? I can’t wait to try Shooting Stars!
