Power Dressing

Mini Mani Month, day 17, and I’m so far behind again! It’s so hard trying to keep up whilst getting ready for Christmas, and wanting to do Christmas nail art. If anyone has managed to do this every day, well done to you!

Day 17, was Power Dressing, a gorgeous dark blue jelly, not quite navy. Pictures show 3 coats with no topcoat. The only problem I had with this polish was staining, my nails were ok as I only wore this for a few minutes to take pictures, but any polish I got on the skin was hard to budge!

Headliner

Mini Mani Month, day 15, Headliner. This colour instantly became one of my favourites from the calendar, a stunning bright blue, almost teal, cr├Ęme. Pictures show 3 coats with no top coat.

I’m probably just being fussy, but I don’t like the wording on the quote, I think it should be ‘A woman is only helpless til her nail polish dries.’ Just me?

Glass Slipper

I’m finally caught up! Behind door 13 of the Mini Mani Month was Glass Slipper. I immediately fell in love with the colour. Glass Slipper is a stunning cobalt blue glitter. One coat would be perfect as a topcoat, but it only needed 3 coats for full coverage. It’s also the only glitter I’ve used that didn’t have the usual gritty texture, so a topcoat isn’t necessary. They only problem I had with this polish was it had a very strong smell, like Halo did.
