Beyond is from Color Club’s Halo Hues collection, and is a dark grey, almost black linear holo. It’s a lot darker in real life than it is when photographed.
My picture show three coats with no top coat.
I recently picked up a couple of Color Club’s 2013 Halo Hues collection from eBay, and I managed to stay away from the blue, which is a first for me!
Whenever I’ve seen swatches of Color Club’s holos, I’ve always been impressed with the strength of the holo, and they’re all so pretty!
Eternal Beauty is a gorgeous purple with a strong linear holo. The formula was great, as was the wear, I took these pictures after wearing the polish for two days, and there was only some slight tip wear.
My pictures show two coats with one coat of HK girl.
Do you have any of the Halo Hues collection? Which is your favourite?
Saran wrap (or cling film for anyone else in the UK!) nails was something I had heard of, but I hadn’t really looked at. Until now. A few days ago, this post from Polish Me, Please! arrived in my inbox and I knew straight away that I had to give this ago. So I followed this tutorial, and this is what I got!
I used Barry M 319 Silver Foil Effects as the base, then Color Club Hot Like Lava, and Cold Metal.
This is a very, very messy technique, but I think it’s totally worth it for the end result. It’s also very quick and easy to do. I did get carried away with the blue on my right hand, but I’ll be trying this again soon, I love it!
