Elf Nails

I have had an absolute disaster with my nails this month, I managed to break 3 at once shutting my car boot at the start of the month! They’d just got back to an acceptable length for some Christmas nail art over the last week or so, and then I broke another yesterday, on my car boot again!

I’ve also been so busy trying to get everything sorted for Christmas of course!

Last week I had Elf nails, my inspiration was a Pinterest pin, by Adelis Lebron. I kept the design pretty much the same, but decided to do a glitter placement tree, with a star stud.

I used Models Own White Light HyperGel and Nails Inc Notting Hill Carnival and Seven Dials.

Purple Dream

So I’ve been a bit busy playing on my new iPad (I’m addicted to Draw Something) and I thought I’d give my nails a few days break whilst waiting for new polishes in my ELF order. The first one I tried out was Purple Dream, which is a gorgeous glossy polish. It applied really nicely, but I found it was quite watery, and I needed 3 coats for full coverage. Overall, I love the colour, but I’ve already chipped it once, so I don’t think it’ll last very long, but I can’t really complain for £1.50!

I also ordered two OPI mini sets last night, the Holland collection and Nice Stems! Very excited, especially for Be A Dahlia Won’t You?, Come To Poppy, I Lily Love You, Kiss Me on My Tulips and Pedal Faster Suzi! – all the pinks! I also can’t wait for OPI’s Minnie Mouse collection to come out later this year, very cute! L to R: I’m All Ears, Nothin’ Mousie ’bout it, If You Moust You Moust and The Color of Minnie.

One last thing, does anybody know where I can buy China Glaze polish in the UK? Either online or in a shop, they have some amazing colours but I can’t find them anywhere!
