This weeks prompt for the BNB Nail Art Challenge is Neon. I struggled with this one as I don’t own many neon polishes, which is why my nails aren’t particularly arty!
I used Models Own Beach Party, White Light HyperGel, and Lush Lacquer (now Polish Me Silly) Clowning Around.
This was the first piCture pOlish I bought from Rainbow Connection a couple of months ago. If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you’ll probably know that I love blues, and I’m not a big fan of reds, so I surprised myself a little when I decided to order Monroe! But I’m so glad I did!
Monroe is a deep blood red jelly base, with a scattered holo, and I bloody love it!
My pictures show three coats, with no top coat.
I’ve absolutely loves the 4 piCture pOlish’s I’ve tried so far, and definitely wouldn’t hesitate to try more, there’s some amazing colours!
Gravity is the last of the three LE piCture pOlish’s I got from Rainbow Connection last week (although I’m tempted by Illusionist!)
Gravity shifts between purple and blue, with some holographic shimmer and glitter.
Like Aurora and Borealis, I wore two coats of Gravity over two coats of Nails Inc New York Noir.
You can’t possibly get Aurora without getting Borealis too, right? Borealis is another of the piCture pOlish LE shades, and was limited to 400 bottles. I was lucky enough to grab one when they went on sale on Rainbow Connection, with a lot of refreshing pages, I managed to get the 3 shades I wanted within about 30 seconds!
Borealis shifts between blue, purple, bronze and a hint of pink (and was very hard to photograph!)

What better way to get back into the swing of blogging with some stunning Limited Edition piCture pOlish? Last week, Rainbow Connection had a restock of the LE shades, and also launched Borealis (coming soon!) I missed out on these last time, and when I saw swatches I instantly regretted it, so when I heard about the restock I was sat refreshing for more news all the time!
Aurora is stunning. Like the bottle says, WOWZA! Aurora is a glitter that shifts between pink, purple, blue and green.
I wore two coats of Aurora over two coats of Nails Inc New York Noir, with no top coat.
Have you tried any of the piCture pOlish LE shades?
As I said in my previous post, I’m better late than never with these, and the final part of my TarasTalons Advent Calendar (minus the Christmas day polish, I’m full of cold and haven’t had a chance to swatch it yet!)

Angel is similar to Dasher, but is a darker copper, with micro holo glitter, bar glitter, hex glitter and a some random shaped glitter.
Crackers is one of my favourites, and is going to be a great glitter topper, with silver, pastel purple and pink hearts, stars, hex and bar glitter. My pictures show two coats with no top coat.

Silent Night is another favourite of mine. A dark blue, almost black base, with blue and green glitter. My pictures show 3 coats with no top coat.
This post will be picture heavy!
As I’m so behind with my swatches, I thought it would be much easier (and less spammy) to post a weeks worth of my TarasTalons advent calendar at a time!
I ordered the advent calendar from Tara way back in August, and once all the polishes were created, I received it in November. It contains 24 5ml indie polishes, plus an extra 10ml bottle for Christmas Day.
I forgot to take a picture when I first got it!
Three Wise Men is a sheer pink shimmer, with a mixture of purple, pink and silver glitter. Pictures show three coats.

You can find Tara’s website here, and her etsy shop here.
Another from Cadillacquer’s Breaking Bad collection, Cap ‘n Cook is a lovely deep purple with a red/pink shimmer and scattered holo effect. Apart from Better Call Saul, I think this might be my favourite from the collection, although I do also love Pinkman.
The formula was great, and I used three coats for the photos below, with no top coat.
The Breaking Bad collection is available at Rainbow Connection, and make sure you check out Nailderella’s amazing macro swatches!
I’m a big fan of Breaking Bad, and I was so sad when the series came to an end a few weeks ago, it’s definitely up there with some of my all time favourite tv shows, so when I saw that Cadillacquer were launching a Breaking Bad collection, I couldn’t wait for Rainbow Connection to get them! I picked three from the collection (for now!) If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you’ll know I love blue polish, so I was torn between Better Call Saul!, and Car Wash, I decided on Better Call Saul purely for the name!
Better Call Saul is a gorgeous bright blue, with a turquoise shimmer and scattered holo. I used three coats with no top coat.
